St Paul with St Luke Primary School
What was needed?
The Red Monkey team met with St. Paul With St. Luke C of E Primary to provide ideas on how to best develop their space given the nature of the school. The existing area was quite large and consisted of tired and worn looking tarmac.
The school needed to add a unit that would keep the children entertained while also providing enough activity for a large amount of children to Utilise it at once.
The challenge was that the school wanted to re-surface the entire area as well, while keeping the cost under £30k.
What we did
Red Monkey designers decided to bring their Woodland Range to this urban setting with the Woodland Activity Treehouse. This unit was chosen because it would fill the space accordingly while also accommodating the large amount of children who would be using it. The Treehouse was adjusted slightly with higher platforms to provide more of a challenge.
To bring life into the remaining area, the Red Monkey designers chose to use Play Grass underneath the unit and re-skimmed the remaining tarmac. Allowing for the minimum required amount of Play Grass to meet health & safety standards, the team was able to budget in the new tarmac resulting in a brand new fun & bright area.
From the customer
Red Monkey have exceeded our expectations with our amazing new play installation.
The service and installation has been faultless and the value for money and quality is fantastic. The children and staff are thrilled to bits! Big thanks to all the team including Emily, Richard, & Rob. I am so glad we chose Red Monkey and highly recommend them.
